Focusing mainly on rural communities living in isolated areas our team finally reached Tongogara Refugee Camp some 650km from base to distribute food and hygiene hampers.

House of Smiles

House of Smiles centre in Harare, Zimbabwe, runs a dynamic program for street children. The drop-in centre has bathing and laundry facilities and provides morning tea with bread and a meal at noon. Gift of the Givers regularly provides the food and hygiene products.
The centre also provides psycho therapy, music and art lessons and medical care through nearby healthcare providers.

Mother Theresa Home of Love Christmas Hamper Distribution 2015

Food and Hygiene Packs in Mashonaland

Gift of the Givers visits flood affected communities in Mashonaland Central to deliver 180 family food and hygiene packs.

Gift of the Givers was honoured to be a part of the Free Cleft Reconstructive Surgery Program carried out at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo. Every Wednesday the Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary run a free vet clinic at Twala for the rural dogs living nearby. They vaccinate, sterilise and treat dozens of ill and injured dogs. In addition, every dog that comes to the clinic gets a delicious meal, and milk and dog food to take home.
