2013 - (22 Feb) - SA Post Office Issues Gift of the Givers Stamp
All Praise to the Almighty and a generous "Thank You" to all South Africans. Following submissions and recommendations by members of the public subsequently endorsed by cabinet and parliament, the SA Post Office was commissioned to design a special edition Gift of the Givers stamp in recognition of our humanitarian activities worldwide.
The new stamp will be launched by the post office at a special ceremony held at Gift of the Givers Logistics Centre in Bramley at 11h00, 22 February 2013.
Our success is South Africa and Africa's success. Our exponential growth, diverse projects, 79 local and international awards including awards from 4 presidents and over R800 million in service delivery to millions of people in 37 countries was only possible because of the huge support from every sector of South African society both private and public. We value and acknowledge that generous spirit from the inner bosoms of our being; be it contributions in cash or kind, whether a deep prayer or a kind word of advice we appreciate every effort from every South African and non-South African who has supported our endeavours.
Our philosophy is clear: "whatever is achieved is through us and not by us". We look forward to continue serving with distinction to uphold the dignity of afflicted human beings, relieve pain and suffering and save lives worldwide, God Willing.
